The role is responsible to provide technical and consultative support for IBA’s customers both in terms of IBSuite platform, interfaces, and configurations script that can be customer specific.

A successful Support Agent operates efficiently in this climate, maintains composure, exhibits professionalism, understands our customer’s needs and delivers the highest level of customer satisfaction.


  • Provide technical and consultative support for IBA’s customers both in terms of IBSuite platform, interfaces and configuration scripts that can be customer specific.
  • Work in the IBA support environment which is highly customer focused and fast-paced operating globally.
  • Fulfill the customer’s needs and deliver the highest level of support matching IBA standards.
  • Corporate closely with the IBA management team and keep them informed about all customer issues and incidents at all times.
  • Interact and coordinate with the IBA R&D team to effectively troubleshoot customer issues and fix implementation bugs but also with other support teams in other location.
  • Analyze and review support cases data to proactively assist with ongoing issues and future deployments.
  • Support escalations and provide root cause assessment to executive teams and customers whenever necessary.
  • Proactively resolve tickets coming from customers in the IBA ticketing system. Whenever necessary the employee will contact the customer or other IBA partners and consultants to obtain more information about specific cases.

Key qualifications

We expect you to possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 2+ years’ experience within a support organization. You must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritize urgent and competing tasks. That requires exceptional time management skills and demands you to be highly adaptable and a fast learner that quickly adapts to and learns new technologies.

The ideal candidate has good programming knowledge and experience with Java and Java Script, including Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Spark and java code troubleshooting using IDEs like IntelliJ. Also, we would like you to have advanced knowledge and experience with development concepts and technologies. You must have a general understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and a good understanding of database performance and optimization. A knowledge of back-end and front-end concepts and flows and understanding software architecture and design patterns is a must.

Finally, you must possess a set of strong presentation skills and the ability to translate technical assessments. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you are action oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidates will be fluent in English and have a work permit for Romania.
